PART 2 ARCHITECTURAL ASSISTANT

Are you ready for your next professional challenge? Our client, a specialist engineering consultancy, is seeking a Part 2 Architectural Assistant to continue their legacy of operational excellence. This organisation is offering a 6-month contract role to a skilled individual, who will work on a hybrid basis, operating 1-2 days a week from their Wokingham office. Enhance your abilities across a variety of Data Centre projects, further developing your professional portfolio. -Competitive hourly rate ranging from £25-£30 (depending on experience). -Hybrid working arrangements (1-2 days on-site). Responsibilities: -Design and develop in-depth concepts for a variety of Data Centre projects, with the support of senior members of the team. -Assemble preparation and research drawings and models, allowing for design concepts and intent to be shared and discussed effectively. -Work collaboratively with consultants, contractors, and clients, ensuring transparency across project plans, allowing for smooth project execution. -Attend site visits and inspections, allowing for practical experience to be gained, to ensure that design intent is being implemented accurately. -Maintain knowledge of up-to-date UK industry trends and advancements, relevant regulations and industry best practices Requirements: -Bachelor's degree, or higher, in Architecture, with a qualification in RIBA Part 2. -Profound experience as a Part 2 Architectural Assistant, or a similar position, ideally with a significant understanding of Data Centre projects. -Strong proficiency in the use of relevant software design tools, such as Revit, AutoCAD, and Lumion. -Effective communication skills, with an ability to work both independently and collaboratively with team members and take guidance from senior colleagues. -Excellent organisational skills, with a strong proactive, problem-solving mindset and a profound attention to detail. CIVIL ENGINEER

Oxford | Contract
£400 - £440 per Day

On the hunt for a role where your work truly makes a difference? We’re looking for a skilled Civil Engineer to bring their technical expertise to a forward-thinking engineering consultancy, joining on a 12-month contract basis. Our client is offering one individual the opportunity to operate on a hybrid basis, working three days a week from their office near Oxford. The chosen candidate will be able to work on a variety of drainage projects, supporting all aspects of project development. -Competitive day rate of £400-£440 (depending on experience). -Hybrid working arrangements (3 days on-site). Responsibilities: -Design and develop civil engineering systems, from concept through to design, across a variety of projects, with a large focus on drainage systems. -Produce technical reports, specifications, and documentation, ensuring they align with current UK regulations, standards, and client requirements. -Work alongside multidisciplinary project teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors, ensuring that all project elements are being accurately integrated. -Ensure all work follows key health & safety standards, sustainability objectives, and industry best practices. -Monitor site-based operations by conducting inspections, carrying out surveys, and verifying as-built conditions, ensuring accuracy and alignment with design intent. -Guide and mentor junior engineers, promoting professional growth and development, whilst also ensuring efficient project performance across multidisciplinary teams. Requirements: -Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent qualification, in Civil Engineering, or a similar discipline. -Extensive experience as a Civil or Drainage Engineer, with 5+ years of design experience, ideally on projects centred around drainage systems. -Proficient understanding of CDM 2015 and current industry standards, regulations, specifications, and key legislation. -Strong ability to create accurate designs for drainage systems, whist also being able to support construction works when necessary. -Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with project professionals, whilst also being able to work independently when required. CIVIL SITE MANAGER

Within this role, you will be required to work on-site from our client’s site in Oxford, in which you will be responsible for a leading variety of infrastructure projects, ensuring that projects are completed in a safe and timely manner, keeping to budgets, and maintaining a high level of quality. -Competitive day rate ranging from £500-£600 (depending on experience). -On-site working arrangements. FIELD ENGINEER

£40,000 - £54,000 per Annum

Responsibilities: -Conduct scheduled and unplanned maintenance checks across a system of CHP Spark Ignition generators, within a geographical region. -Coordinate with CHP support professionals and suppliers, ensuring generator maintenance assessment are executed safely, minimising downtime and budget. -Produce and maintain up to date reports, records, and documentation within a limited timeframe, whilst ensuring accuracy across all documents. -Verify project materials, tools and elements that are required for waste, lubricants, and other orders. -Promote and nurture health and safety across all work activities, whilst ensuring all works follow industry standards, procedures, and key legislations. -Ensure consistent excellence across all customer service practices, whilst conducting product training, ensuring team performance and professional development. ELECTRICAL SITE SUPERVISOR

Requirements: -Bachelor’s degree, HNC, or HND in Electrical Engineering is desirable. -Profound demonstratable experience as an Electrical Site Supervisor, with 5+ years of experience of working within the T&D industry, with a focus on National Grid fields. -Possession of National Grid Competent Person NSI 6 and 8, IOSHH Managing Safely/SSSTS/SMSTS, CSCS, or a CCNSG Safety Passport. -Strong communication and leadership skills, with an ability to build and maintain rapport, whilst also possessing a full UK driving license. -Trained in Formal Electrical and Impressed Voltage, with possession of IOSH environmental and HSG47 qualifications is ideal. -Significant quantitative analysis skills, strong written and verbal abilities, with the ability to work well under pressure, whilst maintaining a problem-solving mindset.
