Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we’re working with a National, multidisciplinary Consultancy who are looking for multiple BIM Technicians at various levels to join their Building Services team. The successful candidates can be based in our client’s Birmingham, Bristol or Newcastle offices, on a hybrid basis. This is a great opportunity to produce and coordinate MEP BIM models for data centre and aviation projects across the UK. What you'll be doing Producing and coordinating MEP Revit models and drawings Managing models from initial setup through to final issue Supporting data centre and aviation projects across RIBA Stages 2–4 Running clash detection and providing coordination reports Incorporating COBie, IFC and Uniclass data where required Working to BIM Execution Plans and project information requirements Contributing ideas towards Revit and BIM automation What we're looking for Upwards of 2 years BIM / Revit experience Strong Revit MEP capabilities Building Services / MEP project experience Good understanding of BIM coordination and model management Experience with clash detection and coordinated model delivery Data centre experience would be advantageous but not essential The opportunity £35,000–£55,000, joining an established BIM and engineering team with exposure to major UK and international projects, alongside the opportunity to contribute to the development of smarter BIM and Revit automation processes. COMMISSIONING MANAGER

Following this, you’ll move across upcoming projects in locations including Slough, Heathrow and Central London, with travel costs covered. This is ideally a permanent appointment offering up to £90,000 per annum, although experienced freelance professionals will also be considered. The Role You’ll take responsibility for commissioning activities across complex mechanical and electrical installations, helping ensure systems are tested, coordinated and delivered in line with project requirements. The position can suit someone with either a mechanical or electrical bias, provided you have the technical knowledge and experience to confidently oversee both disciplines. Projects span a range of technically demanding environments, with data centre and commercial office experience particularly valuable. ELECTRICAL DESIGN ENGINEER

There are three permanent opportunities available, including two senior-level positions and one intermediate-level position, with salaries ranging from £40,000-£60,000 depending on experience. You’ll have the opportunity to work across a varied portfolio spanning infrastructure, commercial developments and data centres, providing exposure to technically challenging projects across multiple sectors. The Role You’ll continue to the design and delivery of electrical building services, working alongside multidisciplinary teams from concept through to detailed design. Depending on your level of experience, responsibilities may include producing technical designs and calculations, coordinating with other disciplines, supporting project delivery and providing technical input throughout different stages of development. Senior candidates will also be expected to take greater ownership of projects and provide guidance to less experienced members of the team. PUBLIC HEALTH ENGINEER

MECHANICAL DESIGN MANAGER

We're looking for a Mechanical Design Manager to take responsibility for major MEP design packages on a significant London infrastructure project. This role doesn't require someone with decades of management experience. The priority is finding a proactive Mechanical or MEP professional who understands detailed design, can take ownership of an HVAC package and has the confidence to drive it through approvals, technical assurance and ultimately completion. The role Working alongside the MEP Package Manager, you'll become the key design contact for allocated supply chain partners and take responsibility for getting your packages over the line. You'll be involved in: Managing Stage 5 MEP and HVAC design packages through to completion Coordinating design reviews, approvals, certification and final sign-off Managing MEP suppliers and their design deliverables Resolving technical queries, scope gaps and design interface issues Coordinating between suppliers, design teams, engineering and project delivery Monitoring design progress, risks and technical compliance Supporting the resolution of Stage 4 design queries and defects Ensuring CDM requirements and design risks are properly managed Working with commercial teams where design changes affect subcontract delivery What we're looking for You'll need a deep understanding of Mechanical Building Services and HVAC design, combined with the ability to coordinate people and keep technically complex packages moving. Ideally, you'll bring: MEP design management or strong detailed design experience A Mechanical or HVAC background Experience on major infrastructure or similarly complex projects Experience managing suppliers and technical deliverables Good knowledge of CDM Regulations 2015 Strong stakeholder management and communication skills Experience working within large-scale, assured design environments A relevant White or Black CSCS Card, or the ability to obtain one Experience with NEC contracts, AutoCAD, Navisworks, ProjectWise or specialist MEP software would be beneficial.
