Attention all Principal Electrical Design Engineers! Here at Blueprint Recruitment we have an exciting new opportunity with a leading client. They are looking for someone with extensive experience in this role with excellent knowledge, to take on the running of a large project. The successful candidate will work in a permanent role, on a hybrid basis, with up to three days a week in the clients London office. Our client is a well-established engineering consultancy, known for delivering innovative solution in the building services sector. Key Responsibilities: -Represent the company in technical meetings with clients, contractors, and professional teams. -Ensure engineering calculations and designs meet industry and legal standards. -Develop and specify control systems and applications for building services. -Conduct surveys, tests, and dilapidation reports on electrical and mechanical installations. -Ensure that manufacturing, installation, and testing meet functional specifications. -Provide ongoing client updates and advice. Key Requirements: -Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. -Chartered status (or working towards) with a professional body (e.g., IET). -Extensive experience in electrical design engineering within building services. -Proven track record in leading and managing projects. -In-depth knowledge of electrical design, power distribution, lighting, and emergency systems. -Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Amtech, Dialux, or similar design tools. -Strong written and verbal communication skills. A leading, independent Engineering Contractor is looking for a Senior BIM Coordinator to support the delivery of complex building services project. This position is suited to someone confident taking the lead on live projects, driving BIM coordination processes and supporting the management of a coordination team within a fast-paced Revit MEP environment. The Role As a BIM Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting the MEP design, coordination, and delivery of projects using industry-leading BIM processes and tools. You’ll work closely with engineers, designers, and project teams of all disciplines to ensure accurate and efficient model production.
