Are you a Mechanical Design Engineer looking for the next step in your career? Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we are looking for Senior to Principal level Mechanical Design Engineers (strong intermediate candidates may also be considered) to join a leading engineering company, in a 12-month contract position. This is a great opportunity to work on an interesting MOD project, working from our client’s office in Plymouth, with occasional site visits in Devonport. -Competitive hourly rate ranging from £50-£75 (depending on experience level). Key Responsibilities: -Lead and manage mechanical building services projects delivered by subcontractors for the MOD, ensuring compliance with technical, regulatory, and business standards. -Act as the technical authority, overseeing design quality, validating documentation, and conducting audits, reviews, and site inspections. -Define mechanical requirements, contribute to scopes of work, and support tender preparation and evaluations. -Represent the company in meetings with stakeholders and contractors, responding to technical queries and guiding project delivery. -Provide technical oversight to junior engineers and maintain accurate project records in line with company standards. REVIT MEP COORDINATOR

Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Revit MEP Coordinator to join a growing independent Contractor on a flagship Aviation project. This is a 6-month contract, outside IR35 and as the successful candidate you will be required to work on site developing a stage 4 design into a stage 5 coordinated model. -Hourly rate of £40 (depending on experience this may vary). Key Responsibilities: -Develop and manage coordinated MEP models using Revit and Navisworks software. -Work closely with engineers and design teams to deliver clash-free designs. -Support project delivery from early design through to construction. -Coordinate with external stakeholders to resolve design issues. -Maintain model accuracy, compliance, and version control. REVIT COORDINATOR

Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we are looking for an experienced Revit Coordinator to join a well-established engineering consultancy, in a 6-month contract position. You will be required to work on a hybrid basis, working 1 day a week in our clients Warwick or Derby office. This opportunity will involve working on a range of MOD projects, with a motivating team. -Competitive hourly rate ranging from £35-£38 (depending on experience). -Hybrid working arrangement. Key Responsibilities: -Coordinate and produce Revit models, with an electrical bias. -Ensure compliance with BIM Execution Plans and project standards. -Collaborate with architects, engineers, and BIM managers to integrate design. -Manage model health, quality control, and resolve technical issues. -Support clash detection and participate in coordination meetings. COMMISSIONING MANAGER

Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we are looking for an experienced Commissioning Manager, to join a well-established infrastructure firm, in a long-term contract role. As the selected candidate you will be required to work full-time in office, in Reading. As a commissioning manager you will be offered the opportunity to work on exciting Nuclear projects, with a motivating and hard-working team. -Rates from £500-£600 a day (Outside IR35), depending on experience. Key Responsibilities: -Lead electrical commissioning for systems like BMS, HVAC, and process equipment. -Manage documentation, testing, and issue resolution throughout the commissioning process. -Coordinate with teams and stakeholders to deliver work packages safely, on time, and in line with project requirements. What we are looking for: Essential: -Security Clearance: Must hold or be eligible for SC/DV clearance; British passport holder with at least 5 years’ UK residency. -Commissioning Experience: Proven electrical commissioning background (e.g. BMS, ventilation) with leadership on complex projects. -Technical & Team Skills: Strong knowledge of commissioning processes, with solid technical, organisational, and communication skills. -Industry Background: Experience working in the nuclear sector and in multi-disciplinary teams, managing key stakeholders. Attention all Information Managers! We are looking for an Information Manager to join a leading contractor, in a permanent position. You will be required to work full time in our client’s office in London. This role will offer the opportunity to work on large scale commercial and infrastructure critical projects, with an experienced and motivating team. Key Responsibilities: -Lead project information workflows in line with ISO 19650 and project needs. -Manage CDE platforms, especially Autodesk Construction Cloud (Collaborate Pro). -Oversee BIM data delivery, including COBie and IFC formats. -Coordinate information across RIBA stages with project teams. -Work with stakeholders to review models and data using Revit and Navisworks. -Encourage innovation through point cloud use and Dynamo automation. -Ensure consistent digital delivery and information standards across projects. What we are looking for: -Must have extensive experience using Revit, Navis works, and other collaboration software. -Strong understanding of Dynamo would be preferrable. -Strong knowledge of ISO19650 and PAS1192 if they utilised it previously. -Knowledge of BIM standards. -Strong knowledge of COBie data and BIM exchange formats (e.g., IFC). -Familiarity with point cloud integration in modelling and its benefits (preferred). -Solid understanding of information management workflows and CDEs, especially Autodesk Construction Cloud (Collaborate Pro). -Awareness of the project lifecycle and RIBA stage deliverables. -Building services knowledge is desirable but not a must!
