Our client, a leading building consultancy, is looking for a skilled Electrical Design Engineer to continue their legacy of brilliance, within a permanent position. This role offers the opportunity for a hybrid working arrangement with a regular office presence in London. Responsibilities: -Produce detailed electrical system designs, with a focus on schematics, project layouts, specifications, plant schedules, and performance calculations. -Ensure all designs follow current regulations, standards, and building codes, and keep reports and documents up-to-date and accurate. -Liaise with multidisciplinary professionals, clients, and contractors, ensuring efficient, effective, and accurate project delivery. -Assist in the construction phase by looking at contractor submissions, settling design queries and attending site visits and inspections. -Implement cost and energy solutions, ensuring project efficiency, whilst taking lighting, power usage, energy conservation, and control systems into consideration.
