Blueprint Recruitment Solutions are looking for a sustainability Consultant to work with an engineering consultancy within the built environment. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects. This role is a Permanent full-time on-site position in London. Key Responsibilities: - Manage the overall delivery of sustainability service streams. - Coordinate the brief, obligations, and deliverables of sub- consultants. - Assist the building and recruiting sustainability team - Provide a holistic advisory role to assess the sustainability opportunities and risks for all projects in the practice. - Preparation including whole life carbon assessments, circular economy statements, sustainability assessments, energy statements etc. - Ability to prepare high-quality presentation material using Bluebeam, PowerPoint AutoCAD and other similar annotation packages. Requirements: - Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a science-based degree, ideally with an environmental engineering or sustainability bias. - Knowledge of Whole Life Carbon Assessments and Circular Economy Statement preparation. - One Click LCA knowledge - Knowledge of EDSL/TAS or IES thermal modelling tools - Understanding of building elements, fabric thermal performance, building services strategies, environmental considerations, and their impact on carbon consumption. - Analytical, Resourceful, and problem-solving Skills. Blueprint Recruitment Solutions are currently recruiting a Senior Quantity Surveyor to have complete commercial responsibility for a project, ensuring it complies with our clients’ legislative requirements, deliver the commercial aspects of the project continually and proficiently throughout its full duration until final. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the development of a validated project budget aligned with delivery goals. - Delivery of projects from start to final account, ensuring compliance with all timelines. - Manage subcontractor relationships, including payment applications and performance monitoring. - Produce and manage earned value analysis (EVA) for both design and construction phases. - Mentor Junior quantity surveyors, delegating tasks and providing guidance as needed. ELECTRICAL DESIGN ENGINEER

Blueprint Recruitment Solutions are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join an International Consultancy in Bristol. You would be supporting Building Services design across a wide range of sectors including Mission Critical, healthcare, transportation, defence, and energy. Experience in these areas would be of benefit to the role. Responsibilities Design and specification of all Electrical Building Services systems including power, earthing, lighting, life safety, telecoms, security, access control, lifts, and lightning protection. Carry out and manage the production of detailed calculations using software tools such as Excel, Amtech, Dialux/Relux, and in-house tools. Prepare technical specifications using NBS. Collaborate with the BIM team to prepare models and drawings, with a working understanding of Autodesk Revit. Conduct site surveys, inspections, and monitor site works. Produce reports and technical notes. Manage own workload, updating workload plans regularly and working to time allocations. Manage elements of project delivery and understand budget costings. Review progress and report anomalies or scope changes to the project lead. Assist with the technical development of junior staff. Requirements Degree qualified, or equivalent, in Building Services Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related subject. Chartered Engineer with CIBSE or IET preferred. Proficient in software including Amtech/ProDesign, Dialux/Relux, NBS, and Microsoft packages. Experience with HV tools beneficial. Familiar with energy reduction methods and approaches to decarbonising buildings. Understanding of energy and carbon-related data capture and analytics. Awareness of building physics principles, passive design solutions, and fabric-first approaches. Competent in designing for measurement and verification, with commissioning and post-installation evaluation experience. Experience working in a design consultancy and/or contractor design environment is essential. Detailed knowledge of relevant technical standards. Able to take charge of deliverables, make decisions, act on own initiative, and operate proactively. Good report writing skills and experience presenting to and meeting with clients. Comfortable working within time and cost budgets as agreed at project briefing meetings. You will be required to work full time across various sites in Central London.
