Our client, a leading structural engineering organisation, is looking for a seasoned Principal Structural Engineer to support their operations, in a permanent position. The successful candidate will be required to work on a hybrid basis, attending their London office three days a week. -Competitive salary ranging from £50,000-£65,000 (subject to experience).

Responsibilities:
-Oversee the development and delivery of structural engineering designs within a variety of projects, whilst following industry regulations and standards.
-Provide technical guidance and support on a variety structural elements and systems, taking secure materials and construction methods into consideration.
-Build and maintain rapport with industry professionals, stakeholders, clients, and government bodies, ensuring requirements are being met and implemented.
-Support and mentor a team of professionals, nurturing professional development, high quality performance, and collaborative working.
-Manage the project’s design and review processes with the use of relevant software tools, whilst ensuring designs remain sustainable and efficient.
-Ensure that all work complies with relevant building regulations, security and safety protocols, and other key legislations.
Requirements:
-Extensive experience as a Principal Structural Engineer, or a similar position, ideally working on Industrial, Retail, Hospitality, Commercial, and Leisure projects.
-Actively working towards, or at, a chartered status with ICE or IStructE.
-Strong understanding with the design and delivery of structural systems, with the use of relevant software tools, such as Tekla, Robot, and Revit, and other relevant tools.
-Profound acknowledgement of current building regulations, Eurocodes, and key legislations.
-Demonstratable experience with managing and overseeing a team of technicians and engineers through a variety projects.
