Here at Blueprint Recruitment we have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Civil Engineer to join an award winning company. We are seeking someone who can bring expertise and extensive knowledge to this role, focusing on drainage and highways. The successful candidate will work in a permanent position, on a hybrid basis, with three days a week in the client South-West London office. You will also be required to travel to site when needed. Our client is a civil engineering consultancy focused on delivering innovative, sustainable infrastructure solutions, serving sectors such as transport, utilities, and multi-disciplinary engineering. Key Responsibilities: -Provide specialist knowledge and design for drainage, highways, and infrastructure projects (including 3D surface modelling and hydraulic drainage design). -Represent the team at client, contractor, and local authority meetings. -Design and gain approvals for S278/S38 highway schemes and S104/S106/S185 drainage schemes. -Prepare Flood Risk Assessments and use relevant CAD and drainage modelling software (e.g., FLOW, Microdrainage). -Deliver technical expertise, conduct Design Risk Assessments, and contribute to project hazard reviews. -Coordinate with other design functions and manage tendering processes Key Requirements: -Degree level qualification in Civil Engineering. -Chartered or working towards. -Extensive experience of working on drainage and highway design projects. -Proficient in relevant software tools. -Experience in civil design, ideally within a consultancy. -Strong communication and written skills. Attention all Senior Bridge Engineers! Blueprint Recruitment would like to speak with you regarding a new and exciting Senior Bridge Engineer role with a top client of ours! They are seeking an individual with extensive experience and knowledge to join their team in a contract position. The successful candidate will work fully remote, however must be able to attend the clients office once a month. Our client is a leading infrastructure, construction, and property development company, operating across various sectors, including construction, highways, healthcare, and environmental services. Key Responsibilities: -Develop and oversee bridge design, assessment, and maintenance solutions within budget and on time. -Design solutions according to national standards and client requirements. -Produce or oversee scheme documents and reports. -Ensure compliance with Quality Management Systems and site-specific audits, as well as health and safety regulations including CDM. -Report progress to clients and update line managers on programme status. Are you a Building Surveyor looking for an exciting new opportunity? Blueprint Recruitment have a great contract role with one of our leading clients. They’re seeking an experienced professional to join their team, working on-site with a repeating schedule of two weeks of day shifts and one week of night shifts. Our client is a leading multi-disciplinary consultancy, specialising in sectors such as data centres, retail, sport and leisure, defence, healthcare, infrastructure, and education. Key Responsibilities: -Conducting building surveys, including condition reports, dilapidation assessments, and building defects analysis. -Preparing and delivering detailed reports and recommendations to clients. -Managing and advising clients on compliance with building regulations and other legislative requirements. -Undertake project management duties. -Engaging with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project goals are achieved.
