AECOSIM MODELLER

Attention all AECOsim Modellers! Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we are looking for an experienced AECOsim Modeller to join a well-established engineering consultancy, in a contract role Inside IR35. You will be required to work on a hybrid basis (3 days a week) from our client’s London office. This is a great opportunity to work hands on with 3D modelling of structures on HS2. -Hybrid working arrangement. Key Responsibilities: -Create, manage, and coordinate detailed 3D models using Bentley AECOsim (OpenBuildings Designer) to support engineering and architectural design. -Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure design intent, technical accuracy, and project requirements are fully met. -Produce accurate drawings and documentation from models in line with industry standards, maintaining model structure and integrity throughout all phases. -Implement BIM best practices, contribute to model audits and quality assurance, and support clash detection and model federation processes. -Assist with integrating AECOsim models into wider Common Data Environment (CDE) platforms such as ProjectWise. DOCUMENT CONTROLLER

Attention all Document Controllers! We are looking for a Document Controller to join a global leading engineering consultancy, in a contract position. You will be required to work on a hybrid basis (3 days a week minimum) from either our client’s Birmingham or Epsom office. This is a great opportunity to work on a range of projects with and experienced and motivated team. -Competitive hourly rate ranging from £30-£32 (depending on experience). -Hybrid working arrangement. Key Responsibilities: -Manage the numbering, filing, organization, and retrieval of electronic project documents in compliance with templates and standards. -Maintain and update document registers, trackers, and Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS). -Conduct quality and compliance checks before issuing documentation. -Ensure contractors follow company procedures, standards, and specifications. -Coordinate and distribute project documentation across internal teams and external stakeholders. -Support project lifecycle documentation from initiation to closeout, including transmittals and ad-hoc reporting. PRINCIPAL DESIGNER

Attention all Principal Designers! We are looking for a highly skilled Principal Designer to join a well-established architectural practice, in a part-time contract role outside IR35. Our client is also seeking Principal Designers with an architectural background for a full-time contract role, also outside IR35. You will be required to work 3 days a week on site in Mayfair, working on a large-scale project in London on stages 3-4. Key Responsibilities: -Lead the planning, management, monitoring and coordination of health and safety in the RIBA stages 3-4. -Foster strong relationships with clients, consultants, and the internal team, promoting an investigatory and inclusive design process. -Ensure that all deliverables (drawing packages, details, specifications) meet the highest standards. The role will be a contract position, in a hybrid working environment, with up to three days based in their London office. Our client is a leading structural and civil engineering consultancy, focusing on a variety of sectors including commercial, residential, retail, industrial, leisure, education and health. Key Responsibilities: -Design, plan, and manage civil engineering projects, ensuring they meet technical specifications, budgets, and deadlines. -Prepare detailed drawings, reports, and calculations to support design solutions. -Collaborate closely with architects, structural engineers, and contractors to ensure successful project delivery. - Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices. This is a great opportunity to work on a large-scale substation project and gain hands on experience in 3D modelling, alongside an experienced and motivated team. -Hybrid/On-site working arrangement.
