An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Civil 3D Technician to join a leading engineering consultancy delivering a range of coastal engineering and civil infrastructure projects. This Civil 3D Technician role is ideal for someone who enjoys producing high-quality Civil 3D models and drawings while supporting the delivery of technically complex infrastructure schemes. You'll work on coastal engineering projects, although candidates with a background in highways or drainage design are also encouraged to apply. The successful Civil 3D Technician will join an experienced technical team, supporting the delivery of projects from detailed design through to construction. The Role As a Civil 3D Technician, you'll be responsible for: Producing Civil 3D models and technical drawings for coastal engineering and civil infrastructure projects Developing detailed designs for highways, drainage and earthworks schemes Preparing layouts, sections and construction drawings Working closely with Civil Engineers to deliver coordinated design solutions Updating models throughout the design process Maintaining CAD and BIM standards across live projects Assisting with technical design coordination across multidisciplinary teams Supporting project delivery through detailed design stages This Civil 3D Technician position offers the opportunity to work on a varied portfolio of technically challenging infrastructure projects. What We're Looking For We're looking for a Civil 3D Technician with strong technical modelling experience. Ideally, you'll have: Previous experience as a Civil 3D Technician or Civil Engineering Technician Strong Civil 3D modelling and drafting skills Experience delivering highways, drainage or civil infrastructure projects Ability to produce high-quality technical drawings and models Good communication and organisational skills Ability to work independently while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams The following would be advantageous: Coastal engineering experience Experience using Subassembly Composer Knowledge of highways, drainage or flood defence projects Consultancy experience Candidates from highways, drainage or general civil engineering backgrounds are encouraged to apply, as experience is considered transferable.
