The role on offer is a contract position, working full time in our clients office in Manchester. Our client is a leading environmental and engineering consultancy, focusing on the energy, development, infrastructure, and water sectors. Key Responsibilities: -Plan and oversee ground investigations and site assessments. -Analyse geotechnical data and produce clear, accurate reports. -Provide input into foundation, earthworks, slope stability, and retaining wall designs. -Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to inform project development. -Ensure designs meet relevant technical, safety, and environmental standards. -Support the preparation of geotechnical risk assessments and technical submissions. -Contribute to project planning and delivery across various sectors. Key Responsibilities: -Oversee model structure, aggregation, and refine work-sharing and data requirements as needed. -Manage and document the Information Exchange (IE) process. -Monitor model development and update Model Element Definitions as the project progresses. -Ensure adherence to the BIM Execution Plan and project standards. -Use relevant software (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, 3ds Max) to create, modify, and review structural models. -Interpret architectural drawings to produce structural models, drawings, and details under engineer guidance. -Create models, layouts, drawings, schedules, and visualizations for reports, presentations, and marketing.
